Tis’ the season to give thanks and give back to the community. This year Fence Factory decided to give back by offering support to our local veterans!
Fence Factory’s very own Ashely Gilbert worked closely with The Ladies Auxiliary to The Veterans of Foreign War to collect donations within the company and to create delicious turkey baskets for Veterans who would otherwise not have anything to eat on the Thanksgiving holiday.
The Veteran’s of Foreign Wars is a nonprofit organization working to assist and aid veterans in need. This year, Fence Factory participated in the generosity and worked to collect donations from November 21st to the 24th for the holidays.
Contributions of yams, vegetables, stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce, and other Thanksgiving favorites were generously contributed to the cause. What better way to honor the heroes of our community?
Every year The Ladies Auxiliary to The Veterans of Foreign War works hard put together 10 baskets filled with Thanksgiving favorites for Veterans in need. Fence Factory is pleased to announce that instead of the regular 10 baskets of food, the VFW was able to create 15 baskets this year!
Fence Factory is proud of Ashely Gilbert’s efforts to help our Veterans and hopes that the contributions for next year will be even better than this years!
